The plural of Dwarf is, or are!, Dwarfs. The Shorter Oxford English Dictionary, my lovely version of the two-volume publication in one, on thin paper, 1956, given to me decades ago by an old family friend, Jill Smith, in Welwyn Garden City, as it was too heavy for her, her being somewhat frail with age, so I gave her my Classical Oxford, which she could manage. Some people like sheep in formaldehyde, and children can stand the cruel and the disgusting without trouble...
